Two Nigeria internationals settled their matches on Saturday with the only goal of the game, Premium Times reports.

Venezia 1-0 Napoli

Super Eagles forward Akor Adams scored four minutes into the second half to give Venezia a 1-0 home win over Napoli, the former Italian champions, in Serie A. Napoli pushed for an equaliser but could not find one.

Fulham 1-0 Hull City

Alex Iwobi scored in the 33rd minute as Fulham beat Hull City 1-0 for their first Premier League win of the season. Fulham had gone six league games without a win, with two draws and four defeats; the victory lifts them to 16th on five points. Fulham were captained by another Nigerian international, Calvin Bassey, while Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi played for Hull.
