Chibuku Products Limited has given K3 million to Mulhako wa Alhomwe, a Malawian cultural organisation, ahead of this year's festivities, Nyasa Times reports.

The company's representative, Henry Mbweza, presented the donation and credited the managing director, Gerald Bowler, with approving it. He said Chibuku has consistently backed Mulhako wa Alhomwe and other major cultural festivals in Malawi, including the Maseko Ngoni and Mzimba Heritage celebrations.

Receiving it for the organisation, board member Muchana Mpuluka thanked the company for its steady support and said the money had come at a useful time. Traditional beer, he noted, is central to cultural celebrations, and the organisation was pleased to work again with the country's leading traditional beer producer.
