TP Mazembe will need a result in Tunisia after a 1-1 draw with Club Africain in the first leg of the CAF Champions League's final preliminary round, Actualité.cd reports.

At the Kamalondo Stadium in Lubumbashi on Saturday, Josué Kazema gave Mazembe the lead with a header from a Patrick Mwaungulu cross. Club Africain levelled in the 39th minute through Kanté, whose curling shot, set up by former Mazembe player Philippe Kinzumbi, beat goalkeeper Diouf, who was off his line.

Mazembe created several chances after the break but could not find a winner. The return leg is in Tunis in about a week.
