Australia close in on victory as Proteas lose four
South Africa ended day four of the Durban Test on 102 for four, more than 300 runs adrift. Matt Renshaw followed his 190 with 82.

Durban — South Africa go into the final day of the first Test against Australia needing to bat out the day with six wickets left, after closing day four in Durban on 102 for four, Daily Maverick reports.
Australia declared their second innings at 314 for six, having scored all of those runs on Monday.
The scores
- Australia: 390 and 314 for six declared.
- South Africa: 284 and 102 for four.
Daily Maverick puts South Africa's deficit at 319 runs.
Renshaw again
Matt Renshaw, who made 190 in the first innings, added 82 from 99 balls in the second. He then took his first Test wicket, having the South African captain, Temba Bavuma, caught at short leg for one.
Renshaw said the first-innings score was a personal milestone: he had long wanted a second Test century, and has been dropped from the Australian side three times in a 16-match career.
Nic Maddinson, out without scoring in the first innings, hit 48 from 38 balls before Anrich Nortje bowled him.
South Africa's hopes
Nortje and Keshav Maharaj took two wickets each. Aiden Markram was unbeaten on 45 at the close.
Maharaj said the side had again given away soft wickets, praised Markram's application, and said the fightback would have to be taken one ball and one session at a time.
South Africa are the holders of the World Test Championship.
