The Egyptian Football Association has published its November fixtures, and the first team's two matches against Malawi in qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations top the list.

Egypt, coached by Hossam Hassan, play rounds three and four of qualifying in the space of five days:

  • Friday 13 November: Egypt v Malawi at Cairo International Stadium, 9pm Cairo time, with a Mauritanian refereeing team.
  • Tuesday 17 November: Malawi v Egypt at Bingu National Stadium, 3pm, with a Ugandan refereeing team. Egypt's winter time means the two countries now share the same clock.

The other Egyptian teams

The Olympic team plays a friendly against Japan on 17 November at 6pm. The youth team of players born in 2007 meets Tanzania twice, on 12 and 16 November at 5pm. The junior team of players born in 2009 has five matches, starting against Russia.
