Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi scored the first hat-trick of his career and added two assists as Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to beat Le Havre 5-1 in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Hakimi, 27, had not scored this season before kick-off. The hat-trick came in his 486th career game, his first for club or country. Le Havre led through Josh Maja after 18 minutes before Hakimi set up Mika Godts to level and then put PSG ahead. He later curled in a 20-yard free kick.

He is the first player in Ligue 1 with five goal contributions in a game since Neymar in August 2022.

It was a great evening, Hakimi said, because PSG won and because it was his first hat-trick.

The win was PSG's ninth in a row in all competitions and made Luis Enrique the club's winningest coach, with 127 victories.
