President Tinubu says he offered special prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity during his pilgrimage to Makkah.
Abuja — Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his Umrah pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where he offered special prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity inside the Holy Kaaba.
The President announced the conclusion of his pilgrimage in a post on his official X account, expressing gratitude to the Saudi authorities for granting him and members of his delegation the rare opportunity to enter the Holy Kaaba.
Tinubu also thanked Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their hospitality and warm reception.
The visit forms part of the President’s religious engagement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
