Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy has donated GH₵100,000 to the Black Challenge, Ghana's national amputee football team, ahead of the 2026 Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico, MyJoyOnline reports.

He visited the team's training session at Mensah Sarbah Park on the University of Ghana campus to encourage the players before handing over the money, which he described as a token from himself and the Burna Boy Music Group. He called for more support for players who, he said, are fathers, uncles and brothers representing the nation, and thanked Samson Deen, president of Ghana's National Paralympic Committee.

The draw

Ghana are in Group D with Angola, Iraq and Colombia, and are expected to leave for Mexico in the coming days.
