South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus has named a 37-man squad for the final stages of the Nations Championship in November, and it is full of young players.

Six are uncapped, and four of them played for the Junior Springboks this year:

  • Yaqeen Ahmed, Stormers flyhalf;
  • Riley Norton, Stormers lock who can also play flank;
  • Markus Muller, Stormers centre;
  • Luan Giliomee, Bulls utility back.

They are joined by Bulls wing Sebastian de Klerk and Sharks loose forward Manu Tshituka. All six played for SA "A" against Zimbabwe earlier this year and have been regulars at Bok camps. Erasmus said they had been on the radar for a while and had earned their call-ups with consistent performances over two seasons.

The Boks play France, Italy and Ireland before a finals-weekend Test at Twickenham, where the opponent will be decided by the league standings.

Wing Cheslin Kolbe, lock Eben Etzebeth, centre André Esterhuizen and flyhalf Handré Pollard are out injured.
